We use different leathers for the different types of gloves to ensure the best wearing comfort for you. When selecting the base material, we already pay attention to the perfect final result. This is why we use the very best leathers available in the world to our fashion gloves.
We take particular care of shades. Thanks to the special staining and finishing methods, the so-called aniline dyed leather we use feels superfine and has a special colour depth.

 


 

The leather is a wonder of its own

 

Each piece of leather is unique and unrepeatable. It has an own structure with all of its special characteristics or even its irregularities. This is why special knowledge is required and characterises Karma Gloves already since 1951. It is still good to know that leather is sensitive to the effects of water, drops can leave stains on it or rather make its colour darker occasionally. It is also important to mention that leather with a perfect surface doesn't exist because it is not produced on an assembly line – but therefore a wonderful gift of the nature.

Lamb nappa leather

 

Extra soft, shining elegance

 

Do you like quality gloves with soft touch? Do you prefer classic pieces, which are do not go out of fashion? Then lamb nappa leather is the perfect choice for you.
Lamb nappa leather is an elegant type of leather for gloves – extremely fine with shiny surface -, which guaranteed fit well to each hand. It is no coincidence that this is the most widely used leather for classic gloves.
The lamb nappa leather we use is originate from Italy, because after a long searching we have realised, lamb leathers from Naples are of the best quality. The special softness is ensured by the drying on the salty air in Naples. It won't disappoint you!

 

 

How can you protect lamb nappa leather?

 

To reach the perfect colour depth and softness, lamb nappa leather is coloured in barrels. It won't be covered with dyestuff and therefore can be sensitive to rain and to wet. If wet reaches the glove, dark spots may appear especially in vivid/light colours. In this case you should try to rub the stain carefully with a cloth and baby powder. Deer leather

Just like the Peccary, deer leather is also a type of leather, which is soft, elastic, warm and you just can't keep your eyes away from its characterful and grainy texture.
Deer leather is a popular base material for gloves because it will be softer and more elastic as time goes on due to the wearing; this means that you will stick with it more and more with the passing of time. Thanks to its extraordinary strong and hardwearing material you do not have to part with it prematurely, you can wear it even for decades.

Thanks to the nanotechnological production of the leather this problem doesn't exist anymore. Leather has this special feature, so the whole surface of the gloves can be used for it. This material is currently only in black available.

Chamois leather from New Zealand

 

It warms you immediately up

 

Do you wish to feel real warmth? Can't you stand at all, if your hands are always frozen? Here is the solution, you will never freeze in chamois leather!
Chamois is one of the warmest natural leather. Chamois leather from New Zealand has curly coat and massive wool content. It is excellently suited as lining material as well. This is the warmest hand warmer, what you can wear as glove. You feel your hands always soft and warm thanks to the coat inside the gloves. The outer velour surface provides on the other hand attractive appearance.

 

 

How can you protect chamois leather?

 

Gloves made from chamois leather do not require any special care. If wet reaches the glove, let it dry at room temperature, as far as possible on a flat surface. Brush it then carefully with a soft brush.


 

 

 

 

Hungarian chamois leather

 

A warming touch 

 

Finally, here is a leather, in what you don't need to worry about the coldness It keeps your hand warm from the inside and has a pleasant velour effect from the outside.
Chamois is one of the warmest natural leather. Hungarian chamois has flat coat and massive wool content, what is not removed from the leather. It is also excellent suitable as lining material. Completed as a glove it is known as the warmest hand warmer. The coat gives the lining of the glove, the backside of the leather lends an elegant velour surface for the finished hand warmer.

 

 

How can you protect chamois leather?

 

Gloves made from chamois leather do not require any special care. If wet reaches the glove, let it dry at room temperature, as far as possible on a flat surface. Brush it then carefully with a soft brush.

100% wool:  

 

If you like natural materials and wish to feel light touch, we recommend you gloves with wool lining, what is knitted to 100% from woollen string and enclose your hand soft and warm.


Rabbit: 

 

Rabbit fur feels cozy warm to the touch like no other material. According to it, this is the one of the most popular lining material amongst all age groups. It is comfortable to wear and a perfect choice even in the extreme cold.


Lamb: 

 

Lining made from lamb leather is one of the most warm lining, popular among those, who don't like if their hands have a cold feel. In this case, the lining of the gloves is robust and thick.


Without lining: 

 

Luckily, you can wear gloves not only in the winter. There are many models to be found not for the spring and autumn months as well. There are no warm lining or fur. These gloves are not made with lining, since the aim is not to protect against cold. Rather fashion plays the major role.

 

Exception: 
Gloves made from chamois leather don't have lining, but they have fur. The part of the leather with fur is retained in order to keep the hands warm.


Pure silk: 

 

Silk lining offers fine touch and natural feeling. The typical light lining of the models in spring and autumn is the natural pure silk. Lining made from 100% pure silk gives for gloves fine elegance.


Artificial silk: :

 

Lining made from artificial silk fits perfectly to the models in spring and autumn. It ensures the feeling of pleasant coolness. This lining is extra thin, so you won't find it as disturbing; it is comfortable to wear on each hand. It doesn't slip out of the glove, because fine seams keep everything in its place.


Acryl: 

 

If you like pleasant and comfortable warmth, but you find the fur too thick, than could be acryl a good choice. Lining knitted from acrylic fibers keeps namely the warm, therefore, it is an ideal lining for winter gloves.
