LEATHER TYPES

LAMB NAPPA LEATHER—EXTRA SOFT, SHINING ELEGANCE
Lamb nappa leather is an elegant type of leather for gloves—extremely fine with a shiny surface- which is guaranteed to fit well to each hand. It is no coincidence that this is the most widely used leather for classic gloves. The lamb nappa leather we use originates from Italy because, after a long search, we have realized that lamb leathers from Naples are of the best quality. The special softness is ensured by the drying on the salty air in Naples. It won’t disappoint you!

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT LAMB NAPPA LEATHER?
To reach the perfect colour depth and softness, lamb nappa leather is coloured in barrels. It won’t be covered with dyestuff and therefore can be sensitive to rain and to wet. If wet reaches the glove, dark spots may appear especially in vivid/light colours. In this case you should try to rub the stain carefully with a cloth and baby powder. Then let it dry at room temperature, as far as possible on a flat surface.

DEER LEATHER—STRONG ELASTICITY
Just like the Peccary, deer leather is also a type of leather that is soft, elastic, warm and you just can't keep your eyes away from its characterful and grainy texture. Deer leather is a popular base material for gloves because it will be softer and more elastic as time goes on due to the wearing; this means that you will stick with it more and more with the passing of time. Thanks to its extraordinary strong and hardwearing material you do not have to part with it prematurely; you can wear it even for decades.

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT DEER LEATHER?
Gloves from deer leather do not require any special care. They shall not be treated with any cleaning materials or lubricants! Try to protect them from rain, oil, or other dirt. If wet reaches the glove, let it dry at room temperature, as far as possible, on a flat surface.

PECCARY LEATHER—VELVETY SOFT WARMTH
Peccary is extremely soft, elastic, and warm leather, which is considered one of the most exclusive leather for gloves in the world of fashion. Due to their resistant design, they are popular luxury items. Since Peccary is an animal living in the wild in South America, the leather has special properties and might show surface defects. Cut the gloves needs therefore exceptional technical knowledge and special experience.

Chamois is one of the warmest natural leather. Hungarian chamois has a flat coat and massive wool content, which is not removed from the leather. It is also excellent and suitable as lining material.
